Silver Fish!

Welcome to Silver Sunday the Silver Mom's addition...be sure cruise around and enjoy all the silver loveliness!
I have the nicest friends!  Just this week I received a package with utter surprise, because I had no idea my UPS guy was visiting me this week.....otherwise I would have run to the door to say hello just to get a glimpse of him...tee hee!
The surprise?.... a gorgeous little scalloped dish with a gypsy fish!!!!! Someone really knows me well and was just so sweet to think of me...it was one of my favorite bloggy friends Angela from Filigree Moon.....thanks so much Angela you really made my week. What a wonderful feeling to be on  the receiving end of such kindness....
I think I've got a collection going on..my last name being Fisher may have something to do with it but I gotta say  I do love funky vintage fish stuff....I call them gargoyle fish ...well, actually now I refer to them as "gypsy fish".  For my birthday last year I received this amazing necklace from another one of my sweet friends Jill from Gypsy Brocante (She's on vacation right now with some much needed R&;R...check out her blog next week I'm sure she'll have dazzling pics of her vaca. to share!)
This last piece is a find given to me by my lovely daughter.See the little fish under the bling?
I hope you've enjoyed my Silver Sunday....seriously today it's guilt free blog hopping for all of us moms...because you get to do whatever it is you want! Enjoy your day!
Happy Mother's Day!
I love you mom....thanks for all you do and your mountains of support!

Photographs and Memories.....

I just love this old camera lot I scored a few months ago!  I  can only imagine the memories and images taken with these......
I compiled a few old images of my own to share for this VBF.....the Halloween picture is my Grandmother and her brother and sister in their 1919 Halloween costumes. (She's little Red Riding Hood.) Scattered about are some other family black and whites from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. The one of my great great grandmother is gorgeous. We actually still have that dress, dripping with black beads and lace....
Be sure to visit Polly and the gang over at the French Cupboard for more VBF goodness~
 Happy VBF!
~Hope to see everyone for this special Mother's Day Silver Sunday~

...and be sure to get in on the giveaway there's 10 prizes!

I just loved this movie...my head was spinning whirling and twirling.....I needed to go home and "make something" is all I kept thinking.
'twas overstimulation at it's best....if you haven't seen it you MUST!
.....go "feed your head"
So I created a few inspirational "Alice" pieces...

(you can find the keys on etsy)
Doorknob: No use. I forgot to tell you. I'm locked!
Alice: Oh no!
Doorknob: But of course, you've got the key, so...
Alice: What key?
Doorknob: Now, don't tell me you've left it up there!

I will be giving away one of these Alice inspired key necklaces....at the French Cupboard Blog Party
