Welcome to the hot sticky July edition of Silver Sunday....is it as sweltering hot in your state as it is here in NJ? I hope everyone has been able to keep cool.....can you believe just six months ago we were in the midst of wintry snow storms?
patiently waiting for Spring, Summer and warm weather...perhaps a case of "be careful what you wish for"?
Nah....I love summer, and Silver Sundays!
Last month I showed you my collection of silver sugars and creamers, dreaming of completing this project and not having enough time...well, thanks to the stuffy, sticky weather outside I eaked out a few hours and finally made some of them into funky pincushions....
Thanks for stopping by~
Be sure to check out all the other silver goodness .....have a wonderful weekend
See you next month!
Oh Beth, this will be my first time participating in Silver Sunday! I was going to spend the day playing with some items since it looks like we are heady for a wet weekend. I will be making a post tomorrow.

It is nasty sticky hot & humid today in CT ~ I don't really mind it though. I'd rather this than the ice & snow:) Such pretty Silvers today. Thank you so much for hosting. Your "picnic Show" is very cool BTW.

Beth, thank you for hosting this wonderfull blogparty Silver-Sunday. What a nice and very creative idea to use this milk and shugars as pincushions. I love the purple color to the silver and the lace adds a romantic touch to it. Looks like the pincushions of a princess.

Yep, it's hot here in the deep South too. I could use a little snowstorm 'bout now!
Thanks!

Beth, the pincushions are great! And yes, it's a sticky, hot mess here in Jersey! Last week was the worst!
ReplyDeleteThese are just great. Makes me think that anything I made with a pin stuck in one of these would carry that little extra touch of elegance.
