I've got to say Polly and Steve work so hard to constantly bring their members awesome opportunities and marketing ideas! They must just stay up all night and think of things to help promote all of us, I don't know how they do it.....I think I can hear their wheels churning all the way over her in NJ.
For example just this weekend I got the honor of being featured on the journal.....thanks Polly and Steve!

Sunny Silver Sunday

Spring glorious Spring!...how spoiled was I  this past week? While on Spring break from school we were blessed with sweet sunshine and summer temperatures. I got almost all my projects done, but of course as  usual got sidetracked by inspirations for new ones.....I think I'm up to #8962 on the list of inspired projects.   Mr. Fish was off on Thursday so I dragged him to my favorite Thursday haunt .I have to say that he didn't kick and scream as usual...I think the sunshine was working on him as well.
....what a sea of sumptuous silver! Everywhere I turned it was spilling out across the tables....I snagged a few pieces for myself but got so inspired for my Silver Sunday post I started snapping away....

And let's not forget my very own silver fox....check out the beard....silver!

 300th follower giveaway!
I'm going to leave it running and announce the winner on Monday evening so any Silver Sunday Sistas that want to get in on the giveaway can have a chance as well.  I am so grateful to all of you!
When you leave a comment be sure to let me know if you would like to be included in the giveaway.

You'll win a pretty pink toille rosette, fluffy spring doily and a simple "thank you" necklace I designed just for this giveaway....Happy Silver Sunday!

Dancing My Way into the Meadow...Happy .VBF!

So I was trying to figure out a Springy and fresh yet black VBF post...not an easy task. Seemed somewhat of an oxymoron but I was determined. So I may not have stayed exactly on topic...but there's a little vintage and a little black.
So cruising through my stash of photos I found a one of a vintage pair of tap shoes that I have on etsy then it hit me....they look just like the "bee girls" shoes.
I think she's fresh in my mind because just the other day the "golden boy"
who is 15,  discovered the video....I heard him playing it over and over..."Hey Mom, I really like this song, check it out" he screamed from his room.  I had to crack up! "Uh Ok" (I'll pretend I never heard it a million times before) I think he was enthralled with the plight of the poor Bee Girl.
Do you remember the ""bee girl"

I have to say as  I pondered the her story, and watched the video for the umpteenth time.  I think I can really identify with this sweet little bumble who taps to the beat of her own drummer.  Haven't we all been the bee girl at one time or another?  But, now I think I've finally found my meadow  filled with other dancing bees who celebrate the same passion, creativity and individuality that I do.
Thanks to you my bloggy friends.....
Now go out and find your meadow!
Happy VBF!
Be Sure to check out all the other VBF bumbles at the French Cupboard and Gypsy Brocante

Beth
