Voila!....French Inspiration Thursay

After a wonderfully successful and fun filled weekend at the Gypsy Market (check out the link to see all the fun) I think it's time to get back in touch with reality. While scurrying around for the past several weeks in anticipation of the Gypsy Market I was neglecting my laundry, dishes, dinner preparation just your basic take care of STUFF kinda stuff etc..etc...,(not that I missed that part of my life...ha who could miss doing dishes?)But in the process of excusing myself from basic chores I also set aside my tri-weekly jaunts with Mr. Fish so, I decided it was time to get back on the walking track. 

We generally try to get in at least 45 minutes of walking at our secret ,sweet spot on the Delaware River.  There's a nature/bird preserve just a few blocks from our house that we frequent.  I took a few photoshots today of a the locals who were out and about as well.

We pass by this billboard on the way home, it has just recently appeared at the base of the bridge(we're right across river from Philadelphia) not quite sure why it's here but there's something so intriguing about it. No words, no advertisements it just simply sits there on the highway amongst the traffic lights and asphalt.

Just thought I'd share it with you....

What do you think? Can't quite figure....but I love the contrast to the busy rush surrounding it.

March Silver Sunday

Welcome to March Silver Sunday!

Lot's  of changes going on this month. Spring is coming, clocks are changing and new adventures are setting forth. My gypsy soul craves change, I can't sit still for too long  so this is the month for me! 

No sooner do I start to dread the cold dreary days of the winter's bleakness when a 60 degree day pops up and sunshine abounds....fresh warming sunshine!

I start to get that itch...you know the one I mean , the I gotta redecorate,  I gotta shop , freshen things up get out of the doldrum type of nudgy itch. 

 I've put together a few fresh SILVER gypsy goodies that will surely feed your restless gypsy soul.....I know it helped mine.

Spring is coming and the bees are starting to buzz....seriously one zipped right by my head out in the yard today.  

So I thought I would reveal just a little bit more of what has been keeping me sooo busy lately.

As some of you know I run a monthly market with my Gypsy buddy Jill. 

Recently we were given an offer we just couldn't refuse....

so we didn't. 

We're moving the market!

We're heading 1 block West and back into my old shop...formerly known as Gypsy Fish.

This is just a sneak peak of what's to come.

Now, before the hustle and bustle of packing and moving I had previously started an online class...designed to hone in on the foundation skills and techniques of jewelry making.

Basically I've become a manic freak for using a torch, making jump rings, clasps and putting together all kinds of crazy stuff.

I love learning new things really gets me inspired!

Thank goodness we'll be getting another hour of daylight next week...I could sure use it or 2 or 3 or 4.

Well I've gotta fly to pack a few more boxes, maybe make some earrings,maybe take my son driving, maybe paint some furniture, oh wait I have to call Jill, email's need to be answered, dog needs to go out, husband's hungry, what! it's dinnertime already?...........................bye!
